Vehicle was purchased from the US, as a rust free, straight, matching numbers vehicle. It was kept in the one family until being traded and was then purchased and imported into Aus. It was a one owner car in the US and presented with low kilometres and in original condition. Purchasing/importation completed by a well known muscle car/mustang restorer in WA and the vehicle was fully restored as a personal project. Paint has been done correctly (and in the factory original poppy red). The vehicle retains its matching numbers engine, chassis and gearbox. The K code engine and manual gearbox (the same as found in Shelbys) remain, including the larger crank balancer. The only modifications made to the vehicle include the fitment of power boosted disc brakes and power steering (original components remain with car if you wish to revert to stock) and movement of the mirrors from the front fenders to the more standard (in Aus) A pillar. The interior of the vehicle is unblemished and the restoration used correct carpets etc and has been carried out to the highest standard.

In its current ownership it has been used as an occasional weekend cruiser and sits in a garage with multiple other exotica. As such it presents in very close to 'freshly restored' condition and would be at home in any car show or event. A dated dyno sheet is available for interested parties (although you could argue that is hardly the point with a cruiser such as this). Documentation and restoration photographs available in support of the above - there are simply not many of these K code Mustangs available and you would be hard pressed to find one in better condition than this.
